InfoComm ’23 is coming up fast, and HETMA will once again be there in force… but this time, even more forcier. (Is that a word? It is now.) In fact, for those in higher ed, this will be the most complete week of education, social events, and product exhibits ever presented to the vertical.

Beginning on Monday, June 12, HETMA will provide its members a CTS study room at the Orange County Convention Center for those preparing for the exam, stocked with food, beverages, and good vibes from the community. Then, in the evening, we’ll be attending the inaugural Higher Ed AV Awards at the Orlando Improv at Pointe Orlando to celebrate the people, products, and projects that make our vertical successful.

Then, on Tuesday, June 13, we are hosting the Higher Education Summit from 1:30pm to 5:00pm. A special keynote address will be followed by an interactive workshop where attendees will navigate through the project lifecycle. Participants will learn from the vertical’s leading subject matter experts, while also sharing their own experiences.

Wednesday, June 14, the show floor opens! HETMA will have a 20×20 booth that will showcase the HETMA Approved products in a special “HETMA Approved Classroom.” The day will be filled with educational programming, a show floor tour, live podcasting, and even chair massages in the afternoon and a closing happy hour with a DJ from 3-5pm. Oh, and swag. Lots of swag.

Thursday, June 15, it happens all over again on the show floor. More programming, another show floor tour, more live recordings, and another closing cocktail hour with DJ! Oh, and swag. (Psst.. even some collector’s items swag.)

Closing it out, Friday, June 16, is a day to mark on your calendars to spend with your higher ed family! We open with a third show floor tour, more in-booth programming, live show recordings, and then… Our Annual Banquet! Once again we will celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, honor our Prism Scholars, and maybe, just maybe, announce some incredible plans for the upcoming year. And after all that, the fun’s not even over. No InfoComm is complete without our “members only” dinner on the town at a secret-not-so-secret location.

Oh, but that’s really not all. We’re partnering with our key industry partners to make sure your after-hours are jam-packed with the hottest events, dinners, parties, and social gatherings that InfoComm has to offer. Get ready for some VIP treatment by our industry.

This is a week not to miss! Be sure to join the online HETMA community for more information and programming updates at https://community.hetma.org.
