HETMA and the Higher Ed Community Are Heading to ISE

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) opens next week and the higher ed community is heading to Barcelona, Spain, in force. With the pandemic mostly in the rearview mirror, higher education emerged as one of the single most impacted verticals. Product development and timely delivery are essential to keeping our classrooms performing at the level required by our institutions. This makes conferences like ISE a vital stop for even North American universities. More than ever higher ed tech managers need to be in the know.

The result has meant better collaboration and connection among all of higher ed’s global organizations. The need to gather at a wider range of global events has improved the influence of the vertical on a wider scale. While previously, our organizations would work mostly independently, this year, HETMA, LTSMG, SCHOMS, ETC, EUNIS, and Higher Ed AV Media are combining forces for social events, panel discussions, media appearances, booth tours, and educational sessions. “We are all better when we come together,” notes HETMA Chair, Joe Way. “The world has gotten smaller, so there’s no need for us to reinvent the wheel. As a vertical, we want to show our unity, even through our diverse organizations. When we come together at these global events, we reap the benefits.”

For this reason, Higher Ed AV Media, one of ISE’s official media partners, has consolidated the calendars and events for all the organizations’ open events, and will be reporting live through a dedicated page at: https://www.higheredav.com/ise-2023. Everyone in attendance is encouraged to follow along with the shared calendar of events and submit their org’s events among one another. Those not attending should bookmark the page to catch all the latest breaking news for the higher ed vertical.

Some key shared events include:
